Andrew F. Laine, Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Radiology (Physics) will be the Co-Chair for the 2008 IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging: From Nano to Macro, May 14-17, 2008, Paris, France. http://www.biomedicalimaging.org/.
This conference is jointly sponsored by the IEEE Signal Processing Society and the IEEE Engineering in Biology in Medicine Society, and is the flagship conference in medical imaging for the IEEE. Professor Laine also serves on the Steering Committee of ISBI for a 3 year term, which provides technical leadership.
