BME Professors Receive NYSTEM Grants

Three BME professors received official notification that they will be awarded NYSTEM grants. These are three year grants of about $1M each to study various aspects of stem cells in bioengineering.
The professors and the titles of their grants are:
Prof. Christopher Jacobs
"Mechanosensitive primary cilia in osteogenic differentiation of stem cells due to loading"
Prof. Helen Lu
"Stem Cell-Mediated Integrative Rotator Cuff Repair"
Prof. Jeremy Mao
"Stem cells in cartilage regeneration"
