Amandine graduated from Columbia undergraduate program in Biomedical Engineering in May 2009. but began working in Dr. Vunjak-Novakovic’s lab in early 2006, as an undergraduate student.

In 2007, Amandine was awarded a two-year NHLBI Research Supplement to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research for her work on electrical signaling and use of native heart matrix to develop a functional cardiac tissue.

In her spare time, Amandine enjoys traveling, reading, and discovering new food and art with friends.
