BME Seminar: Milan Yager, MPA, Executive Director, AIMBE
On Friday, November 5th @ 11:00AM ET, we welcome Milan Yager, Executive Director of AIMBE, as he presents, "Buck Rogers and The Endless Frontier: America’s Innovation Design Flaw."
ABOUT THE SEMINAR
Buck Rogers and The Endless Frontier: America’s Innovation Design Flaw
Everyone loves innovation. Innovation is the bedrock of America’s past global dominance in the marketplace, at the bedside, on the battlefield, and for the frontiers of tomorrow. Yet, innovation just didn’t happen. Choices were made. Priorities established. Leadership navigated. But the times are different. American is different. The endless frontiers of science, health and wellbeing are different. Even the truth of vaccines is different. Can American ever again land a man on the moon or tackle a global pandemic? How is it possible the future is in question? Has science or politics failed us? Can America’s universities survive? Is there a future for young investigators? It isn’t as simple as rocket science. It isn’t science at all. The answers are in the design flaws threatening innovation, medical discovery, public health, and America’s competitiveness. Can Buck Rogers save us? Is there a bioengineer hero in this comic strip of real-life consequences?
