Jessica Tsoong


Ms. Jessica Tsoong is a serial entrepreneur. Currently, Ms. Tsoong is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Relay Ventures, a Toronto and Silicon Valley based venture capital firm focused on investing in early-stage mobile ventures throughout North America.

Jessica is the co-founder of WiFiSLAM, a Silicon Valley startup that developed positioning technologies for indoor location-based services designed to revolutionize the way people interact with their environments. WiFiSLAM was acquired by Apple in 2013, at which time Jessica joined the iOS Location team. While at Apple, Jessica also spent time on the Corporate Development team doing M&A integration.

Prior to starting WiFiSLAM, Ms. Tsoong was a sales-trader at Merrill Lynch in the Global Equity Derivatives group.

Ms. Tsoong earned her BS in Management Science and Engineering from Columbia University and her Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University. Jessica serves as Chair of the Columbia Engineering Entrepreneurship Advisory Board and is actively involved with StartX, a startup accelerator and founder community for Stanford-affiliated entrepreneurs.
