The Department of Biomedical Engineering in the School and Engineering and Applied Science is pleased to invite applications for an Open Faculty position, tenure-track assistant professor, tenure-track associate professor, or tenured professor at Columbia University in the City of New York.  Candidates are sought in the broad areas of Biomedical Engineering, including, but not limited to, mechanomedicine, neuroengineering, orthopaedic bioengineering, regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, system and synthetic biology, biomaterials, functional biomedical engineering, system and synthetic biology, bioinformatics of cellular networks, genomic engineering, and data science and machine learning. Candidates must have a Ph.D.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering in the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science is pleased to invite applications for a tenure-track assistant professor faculty position at Columbia University in the City of New York. Extraordinary candidates at a tenure-track/tenured associate professor, or tenured professor level are also invited to apply. Candidates are sought in the broad areas of Biomedical Imaging/AI, but exceptional candidates may apply in other fields including: mechanomedicine, neuroengineering, orthopaedic bioengineering, regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, systems and synthetic biology, biomaterials, functional biomedical engineering, bioinformatics of cellular networks, and genomic engineering. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or its professional equivalent in Biomedical Engineering or related field by the start date of the appointment. Postdoctoral experience is preferred but not required for the junior level appointment.

The Department of Surgery in the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Department of Biomedical Engineering in the School and Engineering and Applied Science are pleased to invite applications for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position at Columbia University in the City of New York. Applications at the level of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor will be considered. Candidates are sought in the broad area of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. The selected candidate is expected to develop and lead an original externally funded research program, and to contribute to the research and educational missions of the Departments of Surgery and Biomedical Engineering. The University offers a rich environment for multidisciplinary research and encourages collaborations amongst clinical and basic science departments.
